I thought my wreath would be good for this post.
Today I washed a few dishes. I managed to help with the laundry a little... so hard to do when you aren't able to bend.
Frank made Slum Goodie today. He made enough to put in the freezer. I'm so lucky to have Frank as my husband.
After lunch we went for our walk. It was 60° outside and the sun shining beautifully. The fresh air is so nice.
Christmas is a day of meaning and traditions, a special day spent in the warm circle of family and friends." -- Margaret Thatcher
What a sweet wreath (and as usual great quote), I thought of you as I took a bath and shaved my legs yesterday (didn't know some middle aged Texan was thinking of you while she was in the tub huh?). I'm so thankful for my movement. I'm so glad you have good walking weather, and a willing helper. Keep babystepping! Love to you!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI love the wreath! You made that? Amazing. Anything with teddy bears is so sweet, and this turned out very festive!!!
[Wishing it was 60 degrees here on the Texas coast...it's cold and cloudy and very wintry-like!]
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you return often. Happy weekend.
PS....I'd never heard of 'slum goodie' before I had to click on the link you provided. Enough said!!!! I want some...care to share it for dinner tonight? Looks soooooo good.
ReplyDeleteGlad things are going well for you. At least you have something up for Christmas; not me, yet. Slum Goodie sounds just right for the cold weather we are having here. Take care.
ReplyDeleteZaroga,
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable wreath....looks like you're starting to decorate for Christmas! I'm STILL decorating. I didn't realize I had so much! :)
I like your wreath! And I've never heard of slum goodie??? Interesting:)

The wreath is pretty. Your "slum goodie" looks good. It's snowing right now and that looks like the perfect dish on a day like today.

Your husband sounds like a peach...I am glad you have him to help you...your wreath is just right!
ReplyDeleteBlessing to you,
Susie
Good to hear that you are feeling better. Time is just what you need now...
ReplyDeleteTake care...
Your wreath is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteZaroga,
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a chance come by my place. I have something for you. :)
Very cute wreath. I hope you are improving some each day. I know you will be happy to get back to something normal.
