Race Day

Today Frank and I watched Cars 2.  We enjoyed it... we are both Tow Mater fans :-)

Later I was looking at my FaceBook newsfeed and Red Heart Yarn had posted this cute afghan pattern.

Our son, David and his fiance, Laura are making out grandson a batmobile bed.  I think the afghan would look wonderful on the bed.  Unfortunately I have a bad wrist that doesn't like to crochet :-(

Laura found a Tow Mater sandwich she thinks that Nick will like too.

It has been a good day and I hope yours was too.

Bathroom Remodel

Last April we remodeled our bathroom.  Because of my procrastination of not printing pictures for the walls we have only recently called it complete.

It Has Been A While

It has been a while and I cannot promise I will continue to post with any regularity.

I now keep up with many relatives and some friends from high school on FaceBook.   I have quit the farming games there and play mostly Bejeweled Blitz and Words With Friends.  I love Words With Friends...  it keeps my mind working.

Frank and I haven't traveled in a while.  Hopefully that will soon change.  We are both getting restless!

Spring has sprung early here in SW Georgia.  Pollen is everywhere.  Irises have been blooming for a about a month and the jonquils popped up soon afterward.  Trees are blooming too.  So allergies for me right now, but they are not real bad yet.  I do hate taking antihistamines.

I have been reading all the blogs I follow.  Nice to see some of you posting again.  After a break we feel refreshed... don't we :-)


I have just written a post for may Spa entitled All Medicines Are Poison .  Hopefully my thoughts will help someone.  I am not saying that medicines do no good.  Just that we need to be careful and access our medicines.
