Not Much Happening Today
~
Yesterday was grocery shopping and a headache day. Today has been a quiet day for the most part.
Frank cooked dinner, we ate, and I washed dishes.
Then off to physical therapy. Chip put heat on my shoulder. I really started to get hot by time the ten minutes were up. Then some loosening maneuvers and I get to do a few exercises with weights. Then I get the bike... it operates by hand or feet. Since it is my arm that needs the exercise I use my hands and am told to let my right arm do the work and just let my left arm go through the motion... for only three minutes. This is a machine I would like for home. But the price is Too Much.
An hour passed quickly and it was time to go home.
This afternoon I put a few entries into my genealogy data base and I did a few changes to a web site I take care of. I worked a bit on my post for tomorrow. Now it is time to relax.

I use heated rice. you can either make a pad full of rice or take a tube sock and fill 3/25 of the way full of long grain rice tie a not in the end.microwave on high 2 min the 1 min for a reheat. Use a towel to keep the heat down if it is too hot. The moist heat is way better that a heat pad. I would not be able to live well with out mine. I use it for head ache too. I have not received the lens covers yet they are on the way. I will let you know if they work out. I also have started a hypertufa project. I posted about it on my garden blog link is on the side of blog.
ReplyDeleteI still have you in my prayers. Hope soon the pain is gone.
Hi Zaroga, Glad to get an update on the physical therapy. Sounds like you are being taken well care of. Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to have one of those machines, too, but probably wouldn't use it after the new wore off! Happy 4th of July to you and Frank.
