~ I read an entry entitled Butterfly over at Mildred's blog, Nalley Valley, and I really enjoyed the entry. It made me want to look at more butterflies. I thought as cold as it is where some of you are living that you might like to see butterflies too. So here are some of my butterfly pictures.
Gulf Fritillary
Spicebush Swallowtail
Common Buckeye
Horace's Duskywing Skipper
Monarch
Cloudless Sulphur
Fiery Skipper
I hope you enjoyed looking at the butterflies as much as I did.

The MRI of my neck did not show anything that could be causing the pain in my neck and shoulder and the numbness in my fingers. The nurse is going to ask the doctor what is the next step. The doctor's office is closed this afternoon... hopefully I will hear something by Monday... if not I'll make another appointment to see the doctor.
Sleep still is not pleasant, but I don't awaken as much as I did before the injections and the increase in one of my meds.
Thank you so much, Mildred, for pointing me towards this song, "Somebody's Praying" by Ricky Skaggs. I know the power of prayer. I appreciate everyone's prayers for me and Frank.
What bright and clear butterfly photos Zaroga. Thank you for sharing. Most of the blog friends I visit are covered with snow and ice and I know these cheerful photos are a welcome sight. I'm sorry you had to endure the MRI and still don't have an idea of what the problem is. I continue to pray for you and Frank. I pray that you can rest more soundly at night and have better days and I pray that the Lord will give your Dr. wisdom. I, too, know the power of prayer. God bless,
Zaroga, Your butterfly pictures are great! Maybe you can help me indetify some of mine. I love Ricky Skaggs and the song he sang. Very touching. I'm sorry you are having a bad time and still don't know the answer. That's sort of the way I am. My right shoulder was hurt since last April. I've been to a couple of doctors and had a lot of tests, xRays, etc. The next thing is an MRI and I'm not looking forward to that! I'm trying to tough it out and praying every day that God will heal me in His time. I hope that you find a solution to your problem. I will add you to my prayer list. Hang in there!
Also, I think I will assign you the letter G because your blog is Great!
Zaroga, your pictures are wonderful; just like a pro! The colors are so vivid and not one single hint of blur in any of them. I'm impressed. I've never heard Somebody's Praying but I just love it! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, your butterflies are really gorgeous! I've only seen 3 of those in my area. I hope you can find some relief from the pain. Thanks for sharing the Ricky Skaggs music. I've never heard him sing like that. Beautiful song!
Those butterflies are beautiful. The Spicebush Swallowtail one I've never seen before. I will say a prayer that you get things figured out. I love Ricky Skaggs and that song is beautiful.
Zaroga those butterfly pictures are so beautiful. You should make a bound book of all your photos! I hope they figure out what is causing all your pain so you can sleep better. :(
I've been married (to the same man) since I was 18 years old. (we were married in 1969.. I'll let you do the math)
We have a daughter and a son. We will only have grandchildren if a miracle happens. Its alright if that miracle never happens.. we have grandnieces and grandnephews to play with ever once in a while.
Update: Miracles do happen! We now have a grandson and granddaughter. They are not by blood, but they are our grandchildren and never will be referred to as step-grandchildren. Update: We now have two more granddaughters. We are truely blessed!
We spent 20 years in the US Army. I say "we" because when a spouse in the service of their country their whole family is along for the ride.
I worked in retail until my back got the best of me. Now I enjoy the company of my husband. We travel when we can.
I crocheted up until a few years ago. I mostly did toys with an afghan or two thrown in. Update: I am now crocheting again! Sometimes I do a bit of embroidery.
I used to garden in the flower beds, but now I garden in flower pots. There are a few perennials in the yard that I water and dead-head... I do miss digging in the garden.
I still like to cook a little... just a little. You can find some of my recipes here.
